Virginia Values Veterans (V3) Program

V3 SealVirginia Commonwealth has one of the youngest Veterans population in the United States, and the fastest growing Veteran labor force in the United States. Thousands of new Veterans enter Virginia’s workforce each year, and that number is projected to rise in the coming years. Virginia has a unique opportunity to help Veterans gain career employment through The Virginia Values Veterans (V3) Program which not only aims to educate and train companies on why it is a good business decision to recruit, hire, train, and retain Veterans, but also to help those committed companies meet their hiring goals.

EmeSec has taken a pledge to support the V3 initiative, we are confident that Veterans will look at EmeSec as a great place to work.

The V3 Program helps employers develop and implement long-term strategies and nationally recognized best practices in recruiting, hiring, and retaining Veterans.

Through V3 training and certification program, companies will gain a better understanding of what a Veteran is and how they can contribute to the workforce. They will also learn what leading companies are doing nationwide to attract and keep Veteran talent within their workforce, and will learn how to incorporate these strategies in their own organizations. Finally, they help gain access to resources that will help companies connect more directly and proactively with the Veteran and military populations complete all training requirements for state certification.
